Ryabkov and Gordon discussed in detail topical issues of bilateral relations

MOSCOW, February 17 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon met on Friday in Moscow to discuss issues of missile defence and the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe.

“Ryabkov and Gordon discussed in detail topical issues of bilateral relations,” Russian Foreign Ministry sources said. “They also had an extensive exchange of opinions on a number of aspects of the international agenda, including issues of missile defence and CFE,” the sources added.

US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul also took part in the meeting.
