MOSCOW, February 5 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who is running for Russian president, on Monday will meet with political scientists to discuss the progress of the election campaign and current political issues, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday.
According to Peskov, it is planned to discuss the ideas Putin put forth in his recent articles in Russian periodicals. “It is planned to discuss current processes in the country, the situation in the light of the election campaign and plans for the future,” he noted.
Head of Putin’s election headquarters film director Stanislav Govorukhin will be among participants in the meeting, the prime minister’s press secretary added.
