Putin suggests involving more enterprises in innovational development

Putin states that the salaries of heads of companies and top managers should be tightly linked to the achievement of key parameters of the innovational development

TIKHVIN (Leningrad region), January 30 (Itar-Tass) —— Prime Minister Vladimir Putin declared at a meeting of the governmental Commission on High Technologies and Innovations on Monday that it is necessary to ensure a tough link between the salaries of top managers and the key parameters of the innovational development.

"I believe the salaries of heads of companies and top managers should be tightly linked to the achievement of key parameters of the innovational development," Putin said.

In a separate statement Putin called to broaden a list of enterprises with state participation, which task is to develop programs of innovational development. Putin believes that all the parameters should be maximum full and concrete and reflect the essential changes in the work of the companies.

"I have asked the Ministry for Economic Development to formulate its proposals on this subject and think of ways to increase the effectiveness of innovational programs with state participation," the prime minister declared.

The programs of the innovational development of state companies should be coordinated with the investment projects and financial plans and deeply integrated into the business strategy, Putin said. "We should ensure that financial resources really work to ensure better competitiveness of our economy," he stressed.
