MOSCOW, November 21 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian Investigative Committee charged in absentia the Craver spouses with the murder of their adopted son Vanya Skorobogatov, 7, in the United States, spokesman for the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“Today the main investigation department of the Russian Investigative Committee ruled to accuse the spouses Michael John and Nanette Louise Cravers under Article 105 Part 2, points v and zh for murder of an underage child, who was in the hopeless position, by a criminal group,” Markin said. “The detectives found that the spouses, which adopted a Russian citizen Vanya Skorobogatov, killed him,” Markin underlined.

Meanwhile, Russia put the Cravers on the international wanted list through the Interpol on murder accusations of their adopted son, Markin said.

“The relevant documents were submitted in the Interpol National Central Bureau under the Russian Interior Ministry, on the basis of which the accused were put on the international wanted list by all Interpol member-countries in order to find the place, where they are staying, detain and extradite them for Russian investigation,” Markin said.

Meanwhile, “today the detectives have made a request in the court for the custody to the accused spouses,” he underlined.
