DUSHANBE, November 16 (Itar-Tass) — Afghanistan’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Internal Affairs have not confirmed reports on the detention of Russia’s An-72 plane at the airport of Kabul, the press officer of the Russian embassy in Kabul, Stepan Anikeyev, told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The ministries said no foreign planes were detained at Kabul Airport over the past several days, he added.
Earlier the Tajik news agency Avesta reported that the Afghan authorities detained Russia’s An-72 plane at Kabul Airport on Tuesday.
