NAZRAN, October 23 (Itar-Tass) —— A shooting incident in Surkhakhi, Ingushetia, injured two people, the Ingushetia head’s press secretary Anzhela Matiyeva told Itar-Tass.

In her words, Akhmed Naldiyev, 24, disobeyed a police officer’s order to present his id and vehicle for examination. An altercation started, and Naldiyev shot the officer in his leg. The policeman also shot Naldiyev in his leg.

Naldiyev was taken to hospital and put under police surveillance, she said.
