TOKYO, September 2 (Itar-Tass) —— New Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda appointed Koichiro Gemba as foreign minister in his government, local media reported on Friday.
Gemba, 47, is a leader of the ruling Democratic Party and worked in the government of outgoing Prime Minister Naoto Kan.
But Noda has reportedly encountered problems with the finance minister after Katsuya Okada rejected the key job, NHK reported on Friday.
