BELGRADE, April 11. /TASS/. Leader of the Serbian Radical Party Vojislav Seselj who was sentenced by the Appeals Chamber of the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals to ten years behind bars on Wednesday, has labeled this latest verdict as illegitimate, pointing out that it runs counter to the norms of Anglo-Saxon law.
"The verdict is illegitimate, it contravenes Anglo-Saxon law. They can’t deliver a guilty verdict after an acquittal. They can either confirm the initial verdict, quash it or launch a new trial. In this case, they did something, which is inadmissible under Anglo-Saxon law," Seselj told TASS.
