ANKARA, April 4. /TASS/. Syria’s post-war recovery is an irreversible process that will continue even in terms of lack of funds, Russian Presidential Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev said in Ankara on Tuesday.

"There are funds [for rebuilding Syria]," he said, adding that the country’s post-war recovery can be halted by lack of financing. "Yes, it will be more difficult, the process will take more time, but, nevertheless, this process is irreversible."

The Kremlin envoy said that many countries are ready to support Syria’s return to normal life.

"One should also take into account the Syrian themselves - those who live abroad in various countries," he added, citing the reconstruction of Aleppo as an example.
