Vladimir Putin agreed, according to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic
MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Belgrade expects Moscow to act as a mediator to resolve the Kosovo issue, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at a meeting with Russian senate speaker Valentina Matviyenko on Wednesday.
Vucic pointed out that the Kosovo issue had been touched upon at his Tuesday talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "We have certain agreements, in case there are any conflicts, the format will expand in order to resolve the situation," Vucic said. "I asked if Russia could act as a mediator and the Russian president agreed," he added.
"If the Albanians demand that the US become a mediator in the Kosovo talks, then we will demand that Russia join the process," Vucic pointed out.
