KIEV, December 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has handed over to the police a directive putting Mikheil Saakashvili on the wanted list, Spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s Office Andrei Lysenko said on Tuesday.
"The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has issued a directive putting Saakashvili on the wanted list and handed it over to head of the National Police Sergei Knyazev," Lysenko told Hromadske.TV.
According to him, the decision was made since Saakashvili had escaped from custody while being transported to the investigative department of the Ukrainian Security Service.
