The United Nations and Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) cannot verify the information that an airstrike had caused a chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib region, UN Acting High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Kim Won-Soo said at Wednesday’s session of the UN Security Council.

"Reports have stated that the attack was carried out through an airstrike on a residential area," he said. "However, the means of delivery of the alleged attack cannot be definitely confirmed, as this stage."
