Investigators check possible involvement of two Central Asians in St. Petersburg blast

MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Investigators are checking possible involvement in St. Petersburg metro bombing of two natives of Central Asia, a man and a girl, a source in law enforcement agencies told TASS late on Monday.
"They came to the attention of law enforcers after checking records of video surveillance cameras. Their identities are being verified," the source said.
According to preliminary data, they are natives of Central Asia, both aged about 20. "Suspect profiles will be sent to police stations," the source added.
A bomb went off at about 14:40 Moscow time on Monday in a metro train car when the train was moving from Tekhnologichesky Institut Station to Sennaya Ploshchad Station in St. Petersburg. The Russian Investigative Committee has qualified the blast as a terrorist attack, but other versions are looked into.
According to the National Anti-terrorist Committee, the blast claimed 11 lives. Forty-five people were injured.
