MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. A South Supreme Airlines plane carrying 44 passengers has crash landed at South Sudan’s Wau airport, Airlive web portal reported on Monday. Some passengers on board are feared dead. 

Reuters reported quoting local aid workers that no one was killed in the crash but a number of people were injured. According to the airport administration, 20 passengers have been rescued.

South Supreme Airlines is a South Sudanese airline which began operations in September 2013, Airlive said. 

According to Eye Radio, "the plane was blowing smoke from the tail before it crashed," reporter Deng Dimo said. "But when it touched the ground, it immediately burst into a huge flame."
