Russian military delivers over 2,300 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Syrians in past day

In total, humanitarian aid was delivered to 3,250 Syrian civilians

HMEYMIM /Syria/, March 11. /TASS/. Seven humanitarian missions to deliver 2,300 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Syrians were carried out by the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria in the past 24 hours, the center said Saturday.

"In the past day, the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria conducted seven humanitarian missions in the provinces of Aleppo (six) and Hama (one)," the center said in a statement.

In total, humanitarian aid was delivered to 3,250 Syrian civilians.

Russian aircraft also delivered 20.4 tonnes of humanitarian aid (food) to the besieged city of Deir ez-Zor using parachute platforms. The aid was provided by the United Nations.
