Syrian forces liberate eastern Aleppo area with population of over 90,000
All the citizens are getting food and medical assistance
HMEYMIM/Syria/, November 29. /TASS/. An area in eastern Aleppo, home to more than 90,000 civilians, has been liberated by the Syrian forces from terrorists, Russia’s center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria said on Tuesday.
"By noon on November 29, a territory of the city, where more than 90,000 citizens of Aleppo live (some 310,000 dwellings), was fully liberated from terrorists," the center’s representatives said.
All the citizens are receiving food and medical assistance.
According to Russia’s military, dozens of tonnes of foodstuffs and medications have been delivered to provide assistance to Aleppo’s civilians and 150 field kitchens have been set up.
Earlier reports said that by late Monday more than 80,000 civilians were liberated from terrorists in eastern Aleppo.
