Syrian army liberates over 40% of Eastern Aleppo from terrorists

HMEYMIM /Syria/, November 28. /TASS/. More than 40% of Eastern Aleppo’s districts have been liberated from terrorists by the Syrian government army by Monday evening, the Russian center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria said.
"More than 80,000 people live in the liberated districts. The Russian reconciliation center and the Syrian authorities are delivering humanitarian aid, medicines, drinking water and hot meals to them. More than 5,000 civilians fled terrorists-controlled southern districts of Eastern Aleppo to find shelter in government-controlled districts," the center said.
The refuges have been accommodated at humanitarian center offering them all-round assistance.
Earlier in the day, the Russian reconciliation center said that Syrian government troops have regained control over 12 quarters in Eastern Aleppo. "Syrian government troops are pushing ahead with operations to regain the northern areas of eastern Aleppo from militants. By now full control has been established over twelve quarters. About 40% of the eastern part of the city has been cleared of terrorists," the center said.
