WASHINGTON, November 14. /TASS/. US historian and political analyst Allam Lichtman, who unmistakably predicted the outcome of all US presidential races for more than 30 years, does not believe that the board of electors may betray Republican Donald Trump, who won the race this year and to give their votes for his rival Hillary Clinton.

In his interview by correspondence to a TASS reporter Lichtman said:

"It is extremely unlikely that electors will desert Donald Trump. The electors are chosen to be republican loyalists."

Lichtman, who works at the American University in Washington, was almost the only professional political scientist, who predicted victory Trump on the final stage of the election campaign. He did this by using his own theory which consists of 13 key indicators. The Washington Post wrote about this in September and late October.

On Friday, the same publication reported that in a September interview Lichtman gave also another forecast, which was purely intuitive. In his view, Trump’s presidency will end with impeachment and elected Vice-President Michael Pence will come to power.
