JERICHO, November 11. /TASS/. A street in the Palestinian city of Jericho will be named after Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Friday.

"Dear friend, Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, I would like to thank you for Russia’s financing reconstruction works in Jericho’s historic center. In this connection, we will soon hold an inaugural ceremony for a street named after you," he said.
