Yak-52 plane makes crash water landing in Russia's Samara

MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. A Yak-52 plane made a crash landing on water in the city of Samara in the middle reaches of the Volga River, its two crew members were saved, a spokesman for the Samara region department of the Russian emergencies ministry said on Monday.

"There were two crew members aboard the plane. They were saved by rescuers," the spokesman said.

The plane was owned by the DOSAAF (Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet) paramilitary sport society.

Investigation is underway.
