WASHINGTON, September 17. /TASS/. The 5.9 magnitude earthquake has struck Indonesia, US Geological Survey said on Saturday.

The epicenter lay at the depth of 10 kilometers in 48 kilometers to the north-west of the city of Jayapura on the northern coast of New Guinea.

No victims or damages has been reported.
