DPR's Ministry of State Security detained a group of teenagers suspected of sabotage in Donbass upon the order of Ukraine’s special services

DONETSK, September 12. /TASS/. The Ministry of State Security of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has detained a group of teenagers suspected of conducting acts of sabotage in Donbass upon the order of Ukraine’s special services.

"The DPR’s Ministry of State Security has uncovered an espionage ring of Ukraine’s special services and curbed the activity of a sabotage group active on the republic’s territory," the Donetsk News Agency reported citing the ministry.

The group consists of seven teenagers who first received some 5,000 hryvnia ($187) from the Ukrainian special services and then were blackmailed for the crimes they already committed, the ministry said.

Between May 2015 and June 2016, the group blew up civilian cars, military vehicles and multipurpose lightly-armored transporters, service cars of a police department in Yasinovataya and of other civilian and military facilities, it said.

An investigation to identify all members of the group and establish their guilt is ongoing. The ministry has called on international human rights organizations to condemn Kiev’s move to involve teenagers in the criminal activity.
