MOSCOW, July 12. /TASS/. Russia and Algeria have held consultations on security cooperation and countering terrorist threats, the Russian Security Council said on Tuesday.

"The strengthening of the regional security and Russian-Algerian cooperation between defense departments, law enforcement agencies and special services were discussed. The sides also focused on counter-terrorism cooperation," the council said.
