International Tribunal finds Vojislav Seselj not guilty of crimes against humanity

THE HAGUE, March 31. /TASS/. The International Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia has found Vojislav Seselj, leader of the Serbian Radical Party, not guilty of crimes against humanity in the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1991-1993. The verdict was read out by presiding judge Jean-Claude Antonetti.
The judge said the volunteers who had joined the armed forces through the Serbian Radical Party were not under Seselj’s direct command.
Seselj faced charges of persecution on account of political views, race and religion, of deportations and of forced resettlement.
