Body of Russian citizen’s lawyer found with gunshot wounds in central Ukraine
The second suspect in abducting Yuri Grabovsky, the late lawyer for detained Russian citizen Alexander Aleksandrov on trial in Ukraine, was held in the southern Odessa region
KIEV, March 25. /TASS/. The body of Yuri Grabovsky, the lawyer for detained Russian citizen Alexander Aleksandrov on trial in Ukraine, was found in the Cherkasy region, in central Ukraine, with gunshot wounds, Ukraine’s Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios said on Friday.
The body of Grabovsky, who mysteriously disappeared in early March, was unearthed some 27 kilometers (17 miles) from the city of Zhashkov at "a location that had been designated by the criminals," Matios said.
The Ukrainian law enforcers are trying to find out whether Grabovsky was under the influence of psychotropic medications before his death. The lawyer had been first taken to Odessa and then to Zhashkov "where he was killed," Matios said.
Matios added that one of the perpetrators of the murder had fake documents.
