BRUSSELS, March 23. /TASS/. Over 260 people from 40 countries were injured in the terrorist attacks on Brussels airport and metro station, and the death toll stands at 31, Belgium’s Public Health Minister Maggie De Block said on Wednesday.
"More than 260 people from 40 countries were injured in the explosions," the minister said.
"The exact number of victims has not been established. The current figure is 31," she added.
Previous reports said 34 people were killed and 230 injured.
Two blasts rocked the Brussels airport on Tuesday morning. An explosion also occurred in the Brussels metro close to the EU institutions in the Belgian capital.
