BRUSSELS, March 22. /TASS/. Eleven people were killed and 81 injured in twin blasts in the airport of Brussels, the kingdom’s public health minister, Maggie de Block, was quoted as saying by Belga news agency on Tuesday.
The airport of Brussels was closed with all flights canceled.
According to the capital’s public transport operator STIB, at least 15 people were killed and 55 injured in the attack on Brussels metro.
All metro, tram and bus services were shut down in Brussels, according to STIB, the city's public transport operator. Belgium's terror alert level was raised to maximum.
