TBILISI, March 21. /TASS/. Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili said on Sunday Georgia should maintain dialogue with Russia calmly and be guided by its national interests in building balanced relations with Russia.

"We should not be guided by emotions in relations with Russia. We should maintain dialogue with Russia in a balanced and reasonable manner with due account of Georgia’s state, strategic interests. Termination of dialogue with Russia will bring about nothing positive. We need to continue dialogue," the Georgian president said in an interview with Georgia’s Public Television.

"Peace restoration of Georgia’s territorial integrity within the internationally recognized border is in the interests of both Georgia and Russia," he said.
