The charges at the issue were also pressed against the former first lady of the country and ex-president’s oldest son Fabio Luis Lula da Silva

RIO-DE-JANEIRO, March 10. /TASS/. State prosecutors in Brazil’s Sao Paolo pressed charges on Thursday against former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva accusing him of hiding assets, local television channel Globo reported.

The news comes days after the Brazilian police detained the former president, who ruled the Latin American country between 2003 and 2011, in a separate investigation on corruption charges.

The charges at the issue were also pressed against the former first lady of the country and ex-president’s oldest son Fabio Luis Lula da Silva.

According to Globo, prosecutors claim that as part of hiding assets’ charges, the ex-president attempted to conceal the ownership of a luxurious seaside triplex apartment, located in the resort city of Guaruja.
