PARIS, November 25. /TASS/. Turkey's attack on the Russian bomber should wield no influence on diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the Syria crisis, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told a joint news conference with French President Francois Hollande held in the French capital on Wednesday.

"I hope yesterday's events with the downed Russian bomber will not be a step backwards in the Vienna process," Merkel said.
