Hungary PM calls for rethink of Europe’s relations with Russia

Viktor Orban stresses that the EU should seek relations of "special partnership" with such countries as Russia and Turkey to jointly respond to the influx of refugees

BERLIN, September 23. /TASS/. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has called on the European Union to rethink its relationship with Russia.

Speaking after talks with Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer, Orban said: "We should establish special partnership relations with countries that we need in order to take control of the situation, for example in Turkey."

"I also suggest rethinking relations with Russia," he said, talking about ways to cope with Europe's current migration crisis.
