About 100 laws enforcers wounded in riots outside Rada building — Kiev police chief

Four officers are in grave condition

KIEV, August 31. /TASS/. About 100 law enforces have been wounded during the riots outside the building of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, the 112 Ukraine TV channel reported on Monday.

"Up to 100 law enforcers have been injured during the clashes near the parliament building," the TV channel quotes Kiev police chief Alexander Tereshchuk as saying.

 The Ukrainian National Guard reported  earlier that the number had exceeded 50. 

"About 50 soldiers of the Ukrainian National Guard who are undergoing service in the Kiev garrison units, have been injured during the clashes, four of them are in grave condition. All of them have received medical treatment," the press service said.
