VILNIUS, August 18. /TASS/. Lithuanian border guards have denied entry to a Russian citizen who had a Soviet symbol sticker on his car, the Baltic country’s Delfi news website reported on Tuesday.

"The border guards spotted a sticker featuring a red five-pointed star, hammer and sickle on the car’s trunk," Delfi quoted the Lithuanian border service. "Public demonstration of such symbols is banned under Lithuanian laws, therefore, the border guards told the Russian visitor he was not allowed to enter Lithuania on that car."

The driver could continue his trip if he remove the sticker but he decided to go back to Russia, Delfi said.
