Russian humanitarian aid delivered to Donetsk, Luhansk

MOSCOW, July 16. /TASS/. Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoy has delivered humanitarian aid to Donetsk and Luhansk, the ministry’s press service told TASS on Thursday.

"All Russian Emergencies Ministry’s trucks with humanitarian cargoes have arrive in Donetsk and Luhansk. There are currently being unloaded at storehouses," a ministry’s spokesman said. After unloading, the trucks will head back for Russia’s Rostov region.

More than 100 trucks have delivered more than 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Donetsk and Luhansk today, including food, necessities and materials for educational institutions.

This is the 32nd humanitarian convoy sent by the Russian Emergencies Ministry to Donbas. Since August 2014, more than 40,000 tons of humanitarian aid has been delivered to the region.
