SUKHUM, July 15. /TASS/. The South Caucasus republic of Abkhazia with a population of over 240,000 was left without power on Wednesday after a lightning strike damaged the electricity network.

In the meantime Abkhazia is getting power from neighboring Russia as engineers are working to repair the damage.
