CAIRO, June 16. /TASS/. The Egyptian criminal court has passed on Tuesday a final verdict on former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi sentencing him to life in prison for spying for a foreign country.

The court has paused proceedings for a while. Some time later, the verdict on the second case - a mass prison break - will be read out. According to it, Morsi was sentenced to death.
