MILAN, June 10. /TASS/. Russia’s role amid the current tense international situation is crucially important, Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said at a bilateral news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.

"The unbiased truth is that the role of the Russian Federation amid the current, most complicated international scenario is extremely important," Renzi said. "And first of all, it includes counteraction to a threat of terrorism."

Italy’s prime minister thinks it "necessary that such largest nations as Russia should participate in the joint work."

"The only notable disagreement with Russia is the Ukraine crisis," he said. "Implementation of the Minsk Agreements would help remove this aspect of disagreements.".
