Kiev deploys military brigade along disengagement line in Donbas — Russia’s OSCE envoy
OSCE observers in Ukraine confirm the information, the envoy said
VIENNA, June 9. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have pulled one brigade to the disengagement line in Donbas, Russian Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Andrey Kelin told TASS on Tuesday.
OSCE observers in Ukraine confirm this, he added. There is risk that military actions can be resumed, the envoy warned. "We do not exclude this [possibility]," Kelin noted.
"Now, according to OSCE experts, Ukrainian forces concentrated one brigade close to the disengagement line," the diplomat added.
"Observers also see many things from what DPR [self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic] representatives talk about, that the Ukrainian side is actively building up equipment," he said. "It is obvious that Ukrainian heavy equipment disappeares from storehouses and end up deployed along the disengagement line," Kelin added. "It is hard to verify this because observers are mostly working in DPR," he stressed.
