MOSCOW, June 2. /TASS/. Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico on Tuesday pointed to the younger generation’s lack of good knowledge in World War Two history and announced plans to set up a museum commemorating wartime experiences.

"I would like to say that there are plans in Slovakia to build a museum dedicated to events of World War Two," Fico said at a meeting with Sergey Naryshkin, the speaker of Russia's State Duma lower house of parliament.

"We feel that the younger generation lacks information about these [World War Two] events," he said.

Fico also thanked the Russian side for inviting him to join in May celebrations in Moscow marking 70 years since Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two.
