MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The Kremlin has refused to comment on new US accusations against Russia over its allegedly aggressive behavior in Ukraine.

"The allegation [by the US president] is not new, and reaction to such assertions has been voiced repeatedly," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.

"So we don’t see necessity for any reaction," Peskov told journalists.

US President Barack Obama claimed Tuesday at talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Russia "has taken" an "increasingly aggressive posture" on Ukraine.

Obama said the time is "challenging and important" for NATO and added that the alliance keeps supporting Ukraine as part of its partner-like relations with Kiev.

Stoltenberg called for implementation of the Minsk agreements, saying they could be "a path to peace."

The West accuses Russia of destabilizing east Ukraine although Moscow has repeatedly dismissed allegations that Russia could in any way be involved in hostilities in Ukraine’s east.
