Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said such measures as sanctions might entail an economic war
MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. Greece understands Moscow's decision to introduce counter-measures after the West imposed its sanctions on Russia, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Wednesday at a news conference upon the end of a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We understand that these counter-measures were taken in response to the sanctions, the logic of which we disagree with," he said.
"We find this way of action (meaning sanctions - TASS) to be unproductive," Tsipras said adding that such steps might entail an economic war.
"These reciprocal sanctions leading to nowhere should be stopped," he said.
