New Ukrainian Constitution to provide balance of power — Verkhovna Rada speaker

KIEV, April 6. /TASS/. The new edition of the Ukrainian Constitution should provide the balance of power in the country, Verkhovna Rada speaker and Constitutional Commission head Volodymyr Groysman told the committee’s first meeting on Monday.
"Decentralization will make Ukraine stronger," he said.
According to Groysman, the commission was facing huge responsibility. It’s necessary to work dynamically enough to devise a project, which would give the Ukrainian society an answer "on its present-day life and the future."
The commission head noted that among the major tasks of the constitutional reform was to ensure the principle of the decentralization of power and transfer of power to the local level.
