Venezuelan president calls to create shield to protect country from possible US aggression

Maduro on Wednesday met with UNASUR Secretary General Ernesto Samper

MEXICO CITY, February 5. /TASS/. Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro has called the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and the Community of Latin american and Carribbean States (CELAC) to "create a shield" for protection of Venezuela from possible US aggression. Maduro on Wednesday met with UNASUR Secretary General Ernesto Samper.

According to Maduro, he had shared with Sampera some information some of which is classified. The president also expressed his concern about Pentagon's and US Vice President Joseph Biden's statements.
