OSCE countries sign joint declaration urging to establish truce in eastern Ukraine

VIENNA, January 20 /TASS/. Member countries of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on Tuesday signed a joint declaration urging to establish truce in eastern Ukraine.

The declaration published on the OSCE website expresses serious concern with the situation in eastern Ukraine and contains a call to immediate ceasefire by all the sides in conflict and full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

Ertugrul Apakan, the head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office's Special Representative Heidi Tagliavini have also called for establishing immediate truce in eastern Ukraine during a video conference with representatives of the OSCE member countries who gathered for a special OSCE Permanent Council meeting in Vienna on Tuesday.
