ICC admits for examination Moscow Red Cross’s statement on Ukrainian officials’ war crimes

MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. The tribunal of the International Criminal Court in The Hague has admitted for examination a statement by the Moscow office of the Russian Red Cross on military crimes committed by Ukrainian officials.

“I have received a letter from an International Criminal Court prosecutor that our statement has been received and communications started on investigation of crimes against humanity committed by Ukrainian officials,” lawyer Igor Trunov, who chairs the Moscow Red Cross office, told TASS.

Trunov explained that earlier, a special commission of the Moscow Red Cross collected evidence of military crimes: murders, extermination, enslavement, bombings of inhabited localities, exposure to hunger committed against civilians, persecution for political, racial or religious motives, torture of captives and other crimes in the International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction.
