Towns in eastern Ukraine were hit by heavy weaponry, shooting left over 40 people dead and over 120 people wounded, the Russian Investigation Committee spokesman told TASS
MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. Over 40 people were killed in eastern Ukraine from December 1, 2014 to January 12, 2015, the Russian Investigation Committee spokesman told TASS on Tuesday.
Over 4,800 people have died since the start of the Kiev’s military operation, Vladimir Markin said.
From January 1 to January 12 towns in eastern Ukraine were hit by Grad and Uragan rockets, the Akatsiya and Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, other heavy weaponry, including by incendiaries, Markin said.
“The shooting left over 40 people dead and over 120 people wounded. Houses, the social infrastructure and communications in Donbas were destroyed partially or completely,” he said.
