BRUSSELS, December 11. /TASS/. Officials at NATO headquarters have refused to confirm reports of a meeting between Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, supposedly due to be held on December 15.
“We can’t confirm this,” a source at NATO’s international secretariat said when TASS asked whether a meeting of this kind had been scheduled or a discussion might be held by telephone.
Earlier on Thursday, Yatsenyuk said he would meet with Stoltenberg on Monday, December 15.
“We hope for practical support on the part of the bloc and our Army should be built along NATO standards,” he said while presenting his cabinet’s program of action in the Verkhovna Rada, the national parliament.
