DONETSK/LUHANSK, December 3. /TASS/. Authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics will insist on the law on the special status of Donbas (eastern Ukraine) coming into force in accordance with the Minsk agreements.

If the Contact Group meets in Minsk, the republics will insist on the law coming into force, compliance with the provisions of the Minsk protocol that oblige Ukraine to stop worsening the humanitarian catastrophe and on assistance in reconstruction in Donbas, the republics said a statement.
