Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko discussed reforms in Ukraine with US Vice President Joseph Biden
KIEV, November 21. /TASS/. An agreement was reached during talks with US Vice President Joseph Biden that the United States and the International Monetary Fund will provide financial support to Ukraine, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said after talks with Biden.
“We discussed with the vice president issues of cooperation in carrying out reforms in Ukraine,” Poroshenko said, stressing that “most of them became part of the coalition agreement and the 2020 reform strategy.”
“We agreed on serious consultative and financial aid to Ukraine on the part of the US and IMF in implementing reforms, and all this will be implemented soon,” he said.
