PRAGUE, November 20. /TASS/. A statue of Soviet marshal Ivan Konev was painted pink last night, a local official said on Thursday.

The paint has been cleaned off from the monument, he said.

Marshal Konev took part in Prague's liberation from the Nazi troops in the end of World War II. His name was given to one of the streets in the Czech capital.
